That just about sums up until about October time as the rest is uninteresting to read about, just involves many track days and anal levels of testing. Picture from the last track day this year...
I had also bought a Vauxhall Cavalier in order to take the engine out of and fill with forged internals. However, I would of had to upgrade my axle due to the extra torque which all together worked out at £8-9k if I was lucky and planned well so I got put off the idea because the car then becomes a money pit.
After watching an episode of top gear a light bulb came on and I ended up with an Rx-8, 53 reg, 65,000 miles with a compression test of excellent results from Mazda, FSH and all the extra jazz. After a week of fun (but expensive) driving I took the car off the road and began taking the engine out of both the Mazda and the Westfield.

That's my year and the car so far, I will update from time to time but not everything I do will be released, purely because this is a pretty much a one-off conversion and I'm being an arse so most information about the conversion will not be released publicly
