Making this for BlackVTSPower becasue hes lazy and i have all his pics...
my first car was my older brothers Saxo 1.1 Lx! what a beast!
skiping the boring parts!
it ended up with a few mods and looking like this:
Black VTR alloys
custom center caps
power flow letter box exhaust
Cone filter
bucket seats
Harnesses
morrettes
Lowered 70mm
black Rear lights
Show cage
and a funky steering wheel!
even stripped the interior for that added bit of power to weight ratio!
at the end of the day it wasnt enough power so i looked for a better car! having a fair few mods on the saxo that could be changed over, a black VTS was soon found
i brought the car a few months ago now, completely standard bar the black tinted head lights and a decent carbon air intake which had split ( bracket broken) and a nice red strut brace!
106 GTI leather interior inc door cards etc re trimmed in white were already in the car so no need for the buckets and the stripped out look!
then!
the car broke every week for a month or two
it had been sat still for a year when i brought it so giving it abuse things let go
new gearbox
timing chain
head gasket
battery
altenator
and a few other bits went wrong inc a very bad oil leak and then the biggest air lock youve ever seen!!
after id got all that sorted , the front lights got changed for some morrettes the airbox got put on and a scorpian back box went on for some noise!
the car went to well for basicly a standard car so after some opinions and a run to Dynodaze for a dyno we have worked out it has stage 2 cams and a very good remap on it which made it run 138 BHP on crapy fuel
the torque and power lines on the graph are lovely and smooth!
hopefully the person whos had the work done to it has used common sense when he mapped it and would of had a better exhaust manifold and used better fuel so
some Vpower and a new manifold should see the car to 150ish!
